Después de aprender Regular and Irregular Verbs, en esta lección aprenderemos Present Perfect.
El Presente Perfecto (Present Perfect) simple expresa una acción que todavía está sucediendo o que se detuvo recientemente, pero que tiene influencia en el presente. Pone énfasis en el resultado.
Form of Present Perfect (Forma de presente perfecto)
Examples
I have done my homework = Terminé mi tarea en el pasado. No es importante a qué hora exacta, solo que ahora está hecho.
I have forgotten my bag. = Exactamente cuando en el pasado lo olvidé no es importante. Lo importante es que no lo tengo ahora.
Como no usamos expresiones de tiempo exactas con el pasado perfecto, no podemos decir:
I have done my homework yesterday
En este caso usamos el tiempo pasado simple:
I did my homework yesterday.
Usando already, just and yet con el presente perfecto
Already significa algo ha sucedido antes de lo esperado:
«The movie only came out yesterday, but I have already seen it»
Just significa «hace poco tiempo»:
«I have just seen your brother going into the bank with a gun!»
Yet solo se usa en preguntas y oraciones negativas. Significa «se espera que ocurra algo»:
Have you finished the report yet?
No, I haven’t finished it yet
Para hacer el tiempo presente positivo perfecto, use:
- ‘have’ / ‘has’ + the past participle
- Haga el participio pasado agregando ‘ed’ a verbos regulares
- También tenemos verbos algunos completamente irregulares

La forma negativa también es muy simple. Simplemente pon »not» después de «have» o «has«
